Today’s blog post will be a little different from my other ones. I’m really just starting up my whole health coaching practice, and I want to share it with you all – along with some upcoming freebies! 🙂
As a nurse, I like to think I have a pretty good understanding of the whole physical & health side of things. I understand diseases, medications, diet and nutrition, and how the body works, pretty well. I also LOVE helping people – hence why I went into the medical field. Working in the hospital helped me realize that what I really want to do is prevent people from getting there in the first place, and I honestly believe that starts with the fundamentals of diet and exercise.
However, I do have one very big, very prominent weakness.
I’m learning! But I’m naturally not very aggressive, I’m admittedly quite sensitive to what others think of me, and I get turned off by the idea of having to “sell myself.” I know that I have to learn and overcome this challenge, and I am doing so slowly, and I’m doing so right now by giving myself a shameless plug:
